Hotel for Dogs....great movie, great dinner and marvelous weekend.

We decided Christian was now old enough to sit through an entire children's movie without trying to run around visiting the other movie goers so we had family movie night on Saturday. We went to see Hotel for Dogs and it was wonderful. As you can see by his picture, he was such a good boy. We took a quick camera phone shot.

He sat through the whole movie and at one point even reclined in his seat like adults do. After the movie, we had dinner at a local Japanese restaurant. It was a good dinner and we enjoyed ourselves however, it was far from the real Japan cuisine we are used to. If you have children, grandchildren or you happen to be a kid at heart, be sure and check out Hotel for Dogs. It will be money well spent. Have a great week!

First movies are so exciting. It is great it worked out well. You now know that he will not grow up to be one of those annoying adults who talks during movies. :)

Lara I have heard all about the movie. I have 2 grandsons Connor and Cooper
6 and 15months. Chad and Kelli took Connnor who is 6 to see it 2 weeks ago and he always replays it for me.It is just like I was there too. I am so glad you had a great family night out. Keep me posted on what goes on with your family.

Awww - I had some friends that went to see it Saturday night and they loved it. When you come back to Meridian - we have a new Sushi place in town... Sake Sushi... you'll have to try it out.

We took Connor to see it a couple of weeks ago. He enjoyed, as did, me and his dad too. Most movies do not hold his attention all the way through, but this one did. I think my mother in law took Connor to see his first movie when he was around 18 months. It was the Polar Express. She said he was mesmerized.
Have a good week!!

"In the South, the breeze blows softer...neighbors are friendlier, nosier, and more talkative. (By contrast with the Yankee, the Southerner never uses one word when ten or twenty will do)...This is a different place. Our way of thinking is different, as are our ways of seeing, laughing, singing, eating, meeting and parting. Our walk is different, as the old song goes, our talk and our names. Nothing about us is quite the same as in the country to the north and west. What we carry in our memories is different too, and that may explain everything else."
